Thank you for Joining Us for Young at Heart - 2014

Villa St. Joseph Young at Heart is our premier fundraising event. Proceeds from this event, which features fine dining, auctions and entertainment, benefit Villa St. Joseph Benevolent Care and Music Therapy.

The Young at Heart 2014 was held at the Hyatt Regency at Pittsburgh International Airport on Friday, September 19, 2014. Our chairpersons for the event were Joe and Bonnie Makarewicz of Economy Borough. We welcomed 249 guests and netted over $94,000 for beveolent care and music therapy.

With a theme of “home is where the heart is,” the event began at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception featuring music by the Center for Young Musicians, followed by dinner. Local singer Mario Cafarelli performed and Bishop David A. Zubik offered grace.

At the event, Eugene A. Giotto of Sewickley received the 2014 Partner in Caring award, which honors individuals, groups or organizations who help promote the mission of the Villa. Mr. Giotto, a trial attorney, completed nine years of service on the Villa board this past June.

You can participate in the 2015 Young at Heart in several ways:
